RapidTransitTracy(RTT) (aka; sputnik72, GeneralTJWillys, 6spdWillys, and constitutional_patriot)
Just a note to say hello all!
I got an invite for this site through myspace (constitutional_patriot). Also a member of several other Mopar related sites and forums, mainly Moparstyle (sputnik72). Have names at some Jeep and 4x4 sites too. Jeepforum, MyJeepSpace, MyMudSpace and others (GeneralTJWillys), and GreatLakes4x4 (6spdWillys).
Also a member on cardomain (GREENzzzzz) and a few gun/rifle sites (I'll post those S/N's when I remember them, as I've not been on them enough lately to remember them right now! LOL
If you are a fan of Mopar turbo four cylinders (both 2.2's and the SRT4's), and have not already heard of them, check out TurboMopar.com, Turbododge.com and boostedmopar.com.
I'm a member of the Northwest Ohio Crawlers 4x4 club. NWOC. Mainly Jeeps, but we have a Bronco with a turbodiesel transplant and a Samurai in the club.
My daily driver right now IS my Wrangler. A 2005 Willy's Edition with the 4.0 liter inline 6 and a 6 spd stick. My backup/ fun car is a '93 Daytona IROC R/T currently undergoing a remake for cleanup/resto and MORE POWER!! My other backup is a '94 Dodge Dakota club cab with a 3.9 V-6. My wifes daily is an '02 Ram Quad Cab with the old tried and true 360, but only 2WD. The Ram will become her backup when I get the '95 Neon repaired. Nothing special, just a 4-door sport with auto and those tiny aluminum rims. And kinda beat up.
I've got some projects on the back burner and in the planning stages. They are an '87 Ramcharger. Lowered about 4/6 inches before I bought it. Currently no engine, (planning on a hot smallblock) 727 trans. with a 9 1/4 corporate rear with 4.10 sure grip. Also a '71 Satellite Wagon with a Leaning Tower of Power and a 727 (odd....for a /6 car) with an 8 3/4 sure grip rear (also odd.....for a 6 cylinder car). But it was ordered that way by the Govt. Svc. Admin. (GSA), also ordered without a rear seat and termed a SedanDelivery on the Crysler paperwork. Too bad it's the ugly gold color. I guess it's marginally better than the old standby dark green though. (but MAN, that's a LOT of gold!!!)
We've been married for about 10 1/2 years and I have 3 step kids that are now 19, 20 and 21. (girl, girl, boy) 6,7 and 8 when I met them. They're really good kids. Coulda been worse being stepdad. Thanks to my wife for not keeping me from sharing in the responsibility of raising them and scolding them. VERY important to agree how to raise them BEOFRE getting hitched, so there's no arguments about it (especially in FRONT of them) when the time comes for punishments etc.
I recently jumped on the buyout bandwagon from Chrysler before that ship sank. I TRULY hope it doesn't!!! But I, myself could no longer take that chance. I am now able to pay off my house and go back to school. Possibly for electrical technologies for wind and solar power, or possibly for Nuclear technologies since there is a Nuke plant a mere 7 miles away, and the future for Nuclear Power is also looking bright. WISH ME LUCK!
Kinda long winded introduction, so I'll end here. If you want to know anything else, JUST ASK. I LOVE talking about MYSELF!! (just kidding!)
Nice to meet you all and I'll be spreading the word elsewhere.

Yeah, instead of simply keeping things simple, most times I tailor a username to that specific sight. But now it's getting complicated anymore. The older I get the more I FORget!!

I used to do the same thing...now, I just say to hell with it, and use about 3 different logon names....RapidTransitTracy wrote:Yeah, instead of simply keeping things simple, most times I tailor a username to that specific sight.
