Tn. is good to gun owners. Billed passed today 82 to 11 that thumb prints are no longer needed when purchasing a firearm. Since that was instituted with instant back ground check, it's only been used one time and the print was so poor that is was useless. The bill was started because firearm dealers are not certified to take prints and most are not usable by the system. Score one for Tn.

wow I didnt know your state did finger prints?? thats a step in the right direction. Did they slap a fee on for the finger prints?? Quick go buy that ar before they change their mind.

There's a $10 fee for the instant check system. Supposed to pay for the systems upkeep and such. That's all we get charged other than taxes.

in texas its just the background check. But, no fee for that, unless they include it in the gun's purchase?

It's up front here. You have to pay the $10 and pass the check then pay for your gun and your done. It's no big thing. If there's a problem, the gun dealers will help you out with it. Gun shop had the TBI call me one time when mine messed up. And we got it straitened out pretty quick.

When you get to the questions.. are you a felon?? are you a citizen? did you ever denounce your United states citizenship? Whats your weight? your height? are you Caucasian etc...?? You know what really gets me, i fill out my tax return and the government still cannot get my last name spelled right. I gave up a long time ago trying to tell them that.

They print it as Malek.. its Malec!!!! But, i guess if its good enough for government work its good enough for my dodges tranny.

It's all good with me as long as they leave me alone and I get what's coming to me.
