Good afternoon all, I am new to this chat stuff. And I type slow,so please be patient. I have a 1969 Roadrunner that I bought in May of 2011. And it was supposed to have a rebuilt engine in it. Last weekend just before Hot August Nights a lifter nut came loose and the rod was hitting the rocker assembly. I figured this was a good time to do a compression check and found out that I have 0 on #5 cylinder. Bum deal, my question is does any one have any good input on building a 440 with a six pack, and an 833 transmission. Any input would help. I live in the Palmdale region of So. Cal and 440 source is about 20 min. from my house. Thanks Dave

Depends on how you want use it as to how you build it. I'd toss the 6 pack rods for lighter stronger modern units though. Save them though, they fetch top dollar.
