Rob's RB block numbers...

Here's my 440 block numbers....the boss up top shows a code of "E-440", making it a '69 version, but here's the block stampings...

Passenger side:


Looks like it was cast at 11 am on November 15, 1968, and it's a RB 440....

Driver's side:


Same numbers. I have no idea what this "8" means at the end of the series....any ideas?

Yep. It's a casting number. Yours was made with casting #8. Believed to be that the lower the casting number the better the blocks with less core shift.

I'll post the head casting numbers tomorrow....
