Here's my '96 Intrepid. 3.5 24 valve autostick in Candy Apple Red Metallic special ordered fully loaded. It has 141,xxx miles on it now. Just plugs, brakes, oil, and tires. Nothing else done to it pretty much and gets 28 mpg. Best mpg car I have ever owned.

I remember when you bought that, it's been a few years now, hasn't it?

I am about to put my second lic. plate on it in a month or two. Almost 2 years. Been a great car. I did replace the LF wheel bearing and brakes and rotors, but that's it. Still has the stock rear rotors on it. Still gets 28 mpg if you keep your foot out and drive it right. I dirve it 450 miles a week on one tank of fuel. Only thing it needs is a good cleaning on the inside and a repaint. That color fades bad when left out in the sun. If it had been any other color it would still look new. Oh, and I did put a set of plugs in it too. I forgot about that. And that was after I drove it for almost a year. It's been a great car and well worth what I spent on it. I'll probably try to keep this one for a long time. What a Face

Not suprised by the rear brake life, I've gotten 125k out of my factory rear brakes on the XJ. I'm kinda curious to see how long it takes my folks to wear out the T&C's, Dad is usually extremely easy on them 99% of the time and Mom doesn't drive it much more than what little I have so far.

It's got close to 143,xxx on it now, so I am sure the pads have been changed over time, but not the rotors. It's about time for some pads now. Good car though. Very Happy
