Campbell Hausfeld 2-Gallon 100 PSI Electric Air Compressor
I just recently bought one of these from my local Lowe's. I was wanting a small tankless compressor to run an airbrush so that I would not have to constantly change the regulator setting on the big shop compressor. Big Joe suggested that I not get a tankless air brush compressor cause they create surges since they have no storage device. I took his advice and bought this unit. I paid $94 tax and all for this unit and it comes with air hose, accessories and a brad/staple gun.
The gun works great and it comes with several rounds of two types of ammo.
The compressor is great for it's intended use. Always make sure you buy a compressor that's rated more than the tools you plan to use for a job or you'll be disappointed in it's performance. This one is great for running an air brush or a nail gun. Has no capacity for air hungry tools like a die grinder or air ratchet, but it's not made for that.
I only have two real issues with it. It's a little slow to charge up when it's empty and it comes on at 80 psi and off at 100 psi which is a little annoying, but it's not one of my real issues. They main issue, it's noisy in an indoor environment. I thought about putting some sound deadening material on the outside of the case, but I am not sure yet if heat would be an issue, so I may just live with the noise.
Second big issue is where the attachment for the hose is located back behind the regulator knob. It wont allow a full sized water trap to be installed. It will hit the compressor case. They make smaller ones, but those are a waste, get a full sized one. Then you'll need a 90* elbow and a 3" piece of pipe and a fitting from that pipe to the water trap. It's not a big issue, but it is something that could be fixed from the factory instead or me buying up fittings to make it work.
It's of my opinion that no air compressors should be sold without a water trap to begin with. Even if you don't use it for painting, you need to keep as much water out of your air tools as possible. Not only from a maintenance point of view, but from a performance point of view as well.
Over all, it's a great compressor for what it is worth. I posted a review of it on Lowe's web site as well. Not as well detailed as this one due to limits.

looks like a good compressor for having up at the farm for inflating tires and such. I need a big 60 gal sucker to run my air tools.

It would be great for airing tires and light duty work were air consumption is not a problem for the tool you are using.
