As far a problems go, the CTD does not have a lot of problems. Sometimes you get a lift pump that needs replacing, but that is about it. Just look for rust and wear on the drive train and normal stuff that goes bad over time in the cab. Such as the a/c button that likes to break or the overhead console light switch. Piddly little stuff like that.
